JAB Matchmaking

Musicians, managers, label owners, promoters, festival producers, and journalists can meet in person with international and domestic industry leaders. The five‑year JAB Matchmaking initiative has resulted in over 300 productive dialogues aimed at strengthening international cooperation.

The meetings will take place
at the Digital Business Space on June 12, 16:15–17:15.

• Each JAB participant can schedule up to two one‑on‑one meetings with leading Russian and international jazz industry professionals.
• Each meeting lasts 10 minutes and offers a unique opportunity to connect in person, ask questions, and build professional contacts.

Please note: the language of communication with international participants is English.

• Alexander Filippov — President of the Fund for Support of Innovative Creative Projects and Musical Development Jazz on Baikal, producer of the Angara Jazz Festival, Honoured Cultural Worker.
• Clarence Ford — Executive Producer, Co‑Director of the Namib Desert International Jazz Festival, broadcasting expert from Namibia.
• Desmond Frankfort — Entrepreneur, owner of Frankfort Investments CC.
• Carolyn Savage — Co‑Director of the Cape Town International Jazz Festival.
• Georgia Jones — Co‑Director of the Cape Town International Jazz Festival.
• Ren Yuqing — Founder and CEO of China’s first jazz brand JZ Music, bass guitarist, educator, active promoter of the Chinese jazz scene, and jury member of the China Audio‑Video and Digital Publishing Association.
• Ovagem Sultanyan — Artistic Director of the Melodiya Ensemble of Georgy Garanyan, Art Director of the Esse Jazz Club.
