Maria Lemesheva

Maria Lemesheva graduated from the philological department of the Moscow State University and also studied art history at the University of Zurich. She began her work on television on TV-6 as an editor in the international department under the guidance of well-known TV journalist Alexander Gurnov. From 2002 to 2013, she worked on Channel One. From 2002 to 2006, she covered all the most important cultural events of the country and the world in the programs “News” and “Time” and in the final program “Sunday time”. 

Since 2003, at the request of Channel One, she shot documentaries dedicated to Soviet and Russian actors, as well as national cinema. In 2007, the program entered the TEFI short-list in the nomination “The best infotainment program”. 

Since 2011, Maria Lemesheva headed the Russian version of the legendary American film magazine “The Hollywood Reporter”. Since 2018, she has been occupying the position of the chief editor of the Kinoreporter magazine.
